A short poetic documentary created by and for young people in care.

This is a commissioned short poetic documentary by Torfaen Council and TYPSS that I directed, shot and edited. As a care leaver myself making this film meant a lot to me. I worked alongside a social worker from the sixteen plus team and together we came up with this piece. Everyone in this film is either still in care or is a care leaver. We decided to blur their faces due to safety reasons and a few of them were more comfortable on camera knowing that their faces wouldn't be shown. Working alongside other young people who have been through the system was an experiance and it was a nice change to speak to people who have the same experiences as me.
